Abstract

Paget´s disease of the anogenital region is a rare disease occuring in elderly people. In Paget´s disease of the nipple, the epidermis is infiltrated with malignant cells that migrate laterally. Persistent itching and burning sensation are common. The clinical presentation closely resembles lichen sclerosis et atrophicus, lichen simplex chronicus or chronic yeast infection. Surgery is the treatment of choice.
The authors recently experienced a case of extramammary Paget´s disease affecting 72 year old man who had been suffered from well demarcated erythematous, crusted, oozing, and pruritic patches involving scrotum, pubic area, and penile shaft during 7 years. The patient was treated with a wide excision and split thickness skin graft. We present this case with brief review of the literatures.
